Putting the flood in a different perspective

While looking back through my aerial photos and vision of the Townsville flooding earlier this month it struck me just how surreal it was having tinnies motoring down suburban streets, boat trailers operating from highways, armoured personnel carriers parked up on roundabouts and the like. Driving around that same area today it's just about impossible to visualise just how there could have been that much water in those same streets and suburbs.
